Job Requirements
- must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays
- must be able to stand, walk and climb stairs frequently
- must be able to be on feet for the duration of the shift
- willingness to handle exposure to cleaning supplies, pet hair, and accidents
- physically capable of a hands-on, active job
Job Qualifications
- a borderline-obsessive love for animals
- prior kennel or animal care experience is a plus but eagerness to learn is welcome
- a cool, calm, and professional demeanor even in chaotic situations
- willingness to get hands dirty literally
- suitable for high schoolers, college students, and second-job hustlers
Job Duties
- keeping pet enclosures and play areas spotless, safe, and sanitized
- serving up meals and fresh water like a 5-star pet resort concierge
- monitoring the health, happiness, and poop of every pet guest
- reporting anything unusual to the General or Assistant Manager
- supervising playtime, tail-wagging, and games of fetch
- assisting with brushing and bath time
- handling laundry and belongings so every pet has clean snuggly stuff
