Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Exposure to cleaning supplies and pet-related messes
- Must be physically able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to walk and climb stairs frequently
Job Qualifications
- A borderline-obsessive love for animals
- Prior kennel or animal care experience is a plus but not required
- A cool, calm, and professional demeanor
- Willingness to get hands dirty
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs frequently
- Ability to be on feet for the duration of shift
Job Duties
- Keeping pet enclosures and play areas spotless, safe, and sanitized
- Serving up meals and fresh water to pets
- Monitoring the health, happiness, and well-being of pet guests
- Reporting any unusual behavior or health issues to management
- Supervising playtime and interactive sessions
- Assisting with brushing and bath time
- Handling laundry and pet belongings
