- MD or DO degree from an accredited college of medicine
- Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia
- Currently licensed as a physician
- ECFMG and FLEX certification

Job Duties
- Assist in the directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
- Responsible for medical management of patients during anesthesia
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments
- Obtain and verify patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
- Administer induction, maintenance, and emergence of anesthesia
- Monitor patient's physiological condition and perform clinical interventions as needed
