Job Requirements

  • High school diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
  • Required professional licensure or certification can be used in lieu of education or experience if applicable
  • BLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree as anesthesia technologist preferred
  • One year of experience in a medical setting preferred
  • BLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
  • Anesthesia workroom experience preferred
  • Graduate of an anesthesia technician program preferred

Job Duties

  • Performs a variety of duties in surgical services to maintain a well-supplied sterile environment
  • Performs terminal cleaning of each operating room daily including thorough decontamination of furniture equipment and air vents
  • Transports case carts equipment and supplies and disposes of hazardous waste according to policies and procedures
  • Monitors and maintains supply inventories at an appropriate par level
  • Provides physical assistance for patient positioning lifting and moving as directed by clinical nursing staff
