Job Requirements
- obtain and maintain current food handlers card
- ability to work with numbers, orders and food specifications accurately
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- ability to remain calm and focused in a high volume, deadline oriented environment
- must be able to lift and carry heavy objects safely
- value diversity and work well with individuals from different backgrounds
- follow strict adherence to deadlines and product quality
- work on feet for extended periods
- perform repetitive motions such as pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and stooping
- ability to handle kitchen equipment and sharp objects safely
- communicate clearly and positively with coworkers, managers, vendors, and customers
- work around heat sources and chemicals used in cleaning and sanitizing
- complete dishwashing duties if required
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
- ability to multi-task efficiently under pressure
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- ability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- strong commitment to teamwork and customer service
Job Duties
- prepare and present hot and cold food items including salads, sandwiches, pastas, appetizers, pizzas and weekly specials
- organize and maintain cleanliness of assigned work area
- follow recipes and food specifications accurately
- operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- assist in dishwashing duties as needed
- communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management
