Job Requirements
- Previous high volume restaurant cooking experience or education
- maintain current Food Handlers card
- excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
- flexible schedule including evening, weekend, and holiday availability
- ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- ability to work long hours and overtime
- ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
- ability to perform repetitive movements such as pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and twisting
- fine hand manipulation skills such as chopping and slicing

Job Duties
- Oversee production and presentation of catered food for various events
- transfer contracts to function sheets
- order supplies based on function sheets
- track contract change orders and implement necessary changes
- enforce portioning guidelines
- communicate consistently with Kitchen Manager and Chef
- ensure timely delivery of food to events
- supervise and manage other catering cooks
- maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- adhere to safety and sanitation protocols
- coordinate food production for special events such as brewer and vintner dinners
- monitor product quality and presentation
