Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Advanced Excel and data modeling skills
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets
  • Proactive and self-motivated work ethic
  • Experience in aviation or related industries preferred
  • Familiarity with workforce or crew planning concepts
  • Effective presentation skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience in aviation, aeronautics, finance, supply chain, manufacturing, statistics, operations research, engineering, business, computer science, logistics or related field
  • 1-2 years experience in a related role
  • Advanced Excel capabilities with strong data analysis, querying, and modeling skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Effective communication and presentation development skills
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and self-motivation
  • Demonstrated ability to use data analysis to evaluate hypotheses
  • Proficient in verbal and visual communication including dashboards and PowerPoint
  • Preferred qualifications include industrial engineering background
  • Experience in workforce planning, crew planning, network planning, financial planning and analysis, or strategic planning
  • Knowledge of programming languages

Job Duties

  • Maintain various demand and supply forecasts for pilot workforce planning
  • Act as internal liaison with crew planning team during transition from long-term forecast to actual monthly staffing
  • Perform ad hoc analysis for what-if scenarios including pilot contract changes and aircraft deliveries
  • Continuously seek to improve accuracy and processes in forecast models
  • Develop presentations of staffing plans for leadership and internal stakeholders
  • Assist in evolving business requirements by developing new forecast models
  • Support creation and communication of pilot staffing and vacation plans
