Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts, food science, hospitality management, or related discipline
  • OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four years of experience
  • One year of experience in food and beverage operations, airline catering, hospitality, or quality/compliance program management
  • Strong understanding of food safety principles and regulatory requirements
  • Experience creating or maintaining structured documentation such as specifications, training guides, or compliance records
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills with ability to collaborate across diverse teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn new systems and digital tools
  • Available for domestic and occasional international travel up to 50%
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country of employment
  • Authorization to work in the US is required, not eligible for visa sponsorship

Job Duties

  • Build and maintain menu specifications, recipes, and related documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency across catering stations
  • Maintain and update dish directories as the internal single source of truth for all onboard menu items, including performance history, to support accurate specifications and program decisions
  • Create and update crew materials that clearly translate product and service requirements into executable steps
  • Conduct compliance activities, including audits, kitchen visits, and corrective actions, to ensure adherence to JetBlue’s food safety standards and regulatory requirements
  • Document and track audit findings, follow-up actions, and resolution status to support continuous improvement
  • Partner with stakeholders, including Catering Standards, Inflight Service Delivery, and Catering Operations to validate specifications and crew guides align with galley planning, catering capabilities, and inflight execution
  • Provide timely updates to partners and stakeholders on specification changes, compliance findings, and corrective actions
