Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years experience in planning conferences and events in an investment banking or financial services environment
  • event management certificate and/or CMP certification an asset
  • strong organizational and project management skills
  • ability to work with senior leadership and external clients
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to manage conflicting priorities and challenging personalities
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • experience using event tools like Cvent
  • intermediate skills with virtual event platforms such as On24, Open Exchange, WebEx Webinars

Job Duties

  • Design and develop conferences and events that align with company objectives
  • drive brand awareness and customer engagement through high-quality events
  • ensure all events enhance client engagement and support business development
  • recommend and negotiate with suppliers and vendors
  • manage overall program budgets and resources for conferences and events
  • oversee development and delivery of small and mid-sized conferences
  • develop conference and event marketing analytics
  • assist with Ticket and Event Center requests
