Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years experience in planning conferences and events in an investment banking or financial services environment
- event management certificate and/or CMP certification an asset
- strong organizational and project management skills
- ability to work with senior leadership and external clients
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to manage conflicting priorities and challenging personalities
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- experience using event tools like Cvent
- intermediate skills with virtual event platforms such as On24, Open Exchange, WebEx Webinars
Job Duties
- Design and develop conferences and events that align with company objectives
- drive brand awareness and customer engagement through high-quality events
- ensure all events enhance client engagement and support business development
- recommend and negotiate with suppliers and vendors
- manage overall program budgets and resources for conferences and events
- oversee development and delivery of small and mid-sized conferences
- develop conference and event marketing analytics
- assist with Ticket and Event Center requests
