Job Duties
- Complete all daily responsibilities and cleaning task list
- clean 12 vacant dirty rooms within an 8-hour shift
- clean 12 showers
- clean 12 tubs
- clean 12 toilets
- make 12 to 24 beds
- use designated chemicals to clean assigned areas
- work independently and follow directions from supervisors
- complete standards according to established procedures
- meet guest satisfaction by cleaning at an 86 percent cleanliness standard
- attend departmental meetings
- assist guests and go above and beyond for guest service
- read and understand housekeeping department memos
- clean and restock guest rooms per quality standards using vacuum, sticky roll, and cleaning chemicals
- clean checkouts at a 35 minute per room pace
- clean stayovers at a 15 minute per room pace
- address guest complaints or requests within ten minutes with professionalism and patience
- follow workflow provided by supervisors and expediters
- report maintenance issues timely
- move and arrange furniture per standards
- keep cart stocked and tidy
- communicate with floor supervisors and housemen
- perform deep cleaning and daily projects
- maintain assigned area including hallways, windows, elevator landings, and guest rooms
- report damages and guest policy violations
- safely maneuver housekeeping cart
- perform any other duties assigned by management
