Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • related experience and/or training
  • must have some restaurant/bar experience
  • ServSafe Certification preferred
  • ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests, team members, and management
  • keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in service and presentation
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and fostering a positive atmosphere
  • efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to ensure smooth event operations
  • capability to address and resolve guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally
  • flexibility to adjust to changing situations and requirements based on the nature of events
  • familiarity with menu items, ingredients, and special dietary needs to provide informed service
  • ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform physical tasks associated with event service
  • maintain a neat and professional appearance in accordance with company standards

Job Duties

  • Set up bar equipment and restock bars during shift
  • assist in putting product away and organizing bar areas
  • participate in an aggressive hospitality program, greeting all guests with warmth and enthusiasm, and be attentive to their needs while they are with us
  • learn and follow all hotel policies and procedures pertaining to your area of work
  • follow established uniform standards and comply with all other company policies
  • practice safety standards and report all unsafe conditions
  • provide fast and courteous service to our guests
  • conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times as a goodwill ambassador of the property to ensure guest satisfaction
  • maintain a positive attitude, willingness to please guests, and ability to get along with co-workers and supervisors
  • follow established guidelines, procedures, and policies
  • maintain good record of attendance and punctuality at work
  • adhere to prescribed grooming and appearance standards
  • willingness to perform other duties as assigned
  • go over events with manager or supervisor at the start of the shift
  • set up glassware, ice, chillers, trash cans at all bar areas prior to bartenders' arrival
  • restock bars throughout the shift with supplies as needed
  • assist with trash removal from bars as needed throughout the shift
  • keep an accurate count of what is brought up to the bars for restocking
  • tear down glassware, ice, chillers, trash cans from all bars at the end of the shift
  • assist with clearing of the room if needed
  • assist with receiving and rotating product for all properties
  • assist with cleaning and organization of the bar storage areas
