Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in restaurant or food and beverage service preferred
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • availability to work flexible shifts including holidays and weekends
  • food handler certification as required by state or local regulations
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work as part of a team
  • physical ability to perform job duties including bending, kneeling, pushing and pulling
  • adherence to safety and sanitation standards
  • reliable and punctual work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • 1 year restaurant experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Complete daily operations such as opening duties, stocking, polishing, cleaning and maintaining walk-ins and fridges as assigned by the F&B manager on duty
  • Meet and greet guests and coordinate with F&B team regarding preferences, allergies and special occasions
  • Have full knowledge of all food and beverage menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
  • Maintain quality and timeliness of service and practice effective up selling and suggestive selling techniques to drive outlet revenue
  • Maintain accurate billing, cash handling and float procedures
  • Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
  • Serve group functions per individual client specifications
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  • Follow all hotel service standards
  • Perform any other job tasks as assigned
