Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of fundamental principles and procedures of food preparation
  • food handlers course as required by county
  • ability to prepare at least 200 covers in an 8 hour shift
  • familiarity with OSHA requirements
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and organization at work station
  • commitment to safe working habits
  • adaptability to job changes
  • respectfulness and confidentiality

Job Qualifications

  • Highly organized
  • able to work majority of shift standing, constantly moving, and able to lift 30 pounds

  • ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and co-workers

Job Duties

  • Produce food products that conform to hotel and ZMC Hotels standards
  • practice safe and sanitary work habits
  • keep work station clean and organized
  • prepare a minimum of 200 covers in an 8 hour shift
  • adhere to hotel, franchise, and ZMC Hotels standards
  • follow standard recipes
  • communicate effectively with Kitchen Manager and co-workers
  • comply with OSHA requirements
  • attend food handlers course as required by county
  • complete tasks assigned by Kitchen Manager and General Manager
  • carry out all duties safely
  • be flexible and adaptable to job changes
  • treat everyone with dignity and respect
  • keep business functions confidential
