Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- valid Florida Driver's License with Palm Beach County Risk Management Department driving history approval
- obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification within six months of hire
- obtain Crowd Management Certification and completion of IS-15.B Special Events Contingency Planning course within eleven months of hire
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- minimum of one year experience planning and directing public recreation activities or managing public recreation facilities including six months supervising staff
- associate's degree and three years experience planning and directing public recreation activities or managing public recreation facilities including six months supervising staff
- high school graduation or equivalent and five years experience planning and directing public recreation activities or managing public recreation facilities including six months supervising staff
Job Duties
- Manage amphitheater operations including staff and volunteer supervision
- coordinate rental operations and event planning
- ensure quality of facilities, programs, services, and events
- provide guidance and oversight for amphitheater programs ensuring alignment with departmental goals
- recruit and recommend hiring, promotion, and termination
- issue disciplinary actions and resolve employee complaints and grievances
- maintain staff certifications and compliance with safety standards
