Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with restaurant reservation and POS systems
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a restaurant host, hotel concierge, or related customer service position preferred
- Computer skills including restaurant reservation and POS systems, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and use of basic office equipment preferred
- Experience working with children preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly and provide timely seating by maintaining accurate waitlists while maximizing seating capacity
- Manage large crowds professionally and resolve challenging service situations diplomatically
- Create and maintain a pleasant ambiance in the dining room and party rooms through lighting, music and table placement
- Communicate accurate dining room and party room setup, special requests, and birthday information to the restaurant team
- Share information on store and restaurant events with guests
- Utilize Guestbridge reservation and InfoGenesis register systems along with Microsoft Office to perform job functions
- Initiate training opportunities with restaurant staff
- Assist restaurant staff as needed in providing an outstanding dining experience
