Job Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- minimum of 6 months' experience in customer relations, parties, or events
- ability to perform diverse physical tasks including heavy lifting of 30-50 pounds
- ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- good verbal and communication skills required
- warm and friendly demeanor
- ability to multitask in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment
- knowledge of health and safety guidelines
- current ServeSafe certification preferred
- experience working with children preferred
Job Qualifications

- undergraduate education preferred

- one to two years' experience in high-volume, fine-casual dining or related restaurant preferred

Job Duties
- Achieves and delivers timely steps of party execution
- communicates with customers prior to events
- creates and maintains a pleasant ambiance in dining and party rooms
- works with party team to greet and seat guests promptly
- takes and delivers beverage and food orders
- upsells products and services
- services parties throughout events
- prepares desserts and to-go transactions
- delivers and processes checks
- buses and resets tables
- performs daily cleanup and restocking of supplies
- meets sales goals and budgetary guidelines
- works with external vendors and places product orders timely
- ensures customer satisfaction by providing exceptional party experiences
- oversees resolution of customer service issues graciously
- executes events to American Girl standards including games, crafts, hair styling, and doll skin care
- maintains ongoing party communications with staff and management
- follows local and state health sanitation laws and safety guidelines
- assigns and completes daily tasks and side work for front and back of house
- manages InfoGenesis system transactions according to company policy
- takes initiative to train and assist teammates
- provides assistance to various restaurant areas as needed
