Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Management experience in a fine dining or related restaurant environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Certification in Serv Safe and alcohol service preferred
- Proficiency with restaurant software systems including POS and reservation platforms
- Ability to perform physical tasks requiring walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Leadership and staff management abilities
- Experience in customer service and problem resolution
Job Qualifications
- Management position experience in fine dining or related restaurant with high volume and fast paced environment with both front and back of house operations exposure
- Current State Sanitation Certification preferred
- Serv Safe certification preferred
- Safe Alcohol Consumption Certificate preferred
- Computer skills including Microsoft Software, restaurant reservation systems, POS systems, and inventory systems
- Strong understanding in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management
- Ability to perform diverse physical tasks including constant walking, standing, and some heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong leadership, coaching and problem resolution skills
- Highly proficient in calm, clear, empathetic, direct communication
- Organizational skills with ability to lead multiple tasks, delegate, and meet deadlines/goals
- Ability to troubleshoot and be flexible
- Lead by example with positive relationships and teamwork
Job Duties
- Supervise the execution of service standards for the restaurant staff
- Support Restaurant Manager to oversee resolution of customer service issues
- Support Restaurant Manager to oversee the restaurant standards including maintaining dining room and private dining room ambience
- Ensure food quality and consistency including special requests and dietary needs
- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant operations including opening/closing, customer service, ordering, and maintenance
- Independently manage restaurant operations in absence of Restaurant Manager
- Ensure maintenance of restaurant equipment, manage orders promptly and accurately, and oversee operational needs of Zomato reservation system
- Support the Levy partnership
- Manage development and performance management of the restaurant staff
- Oversee hiring needs and training of staff in conjunction with Restaurant Leadership Team and HR Manager
- Support Restaurant Manager to achieve financial goals
