Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of experience as a host in a busy, full-service restaurant
- Ability to follow service standards and maintain food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented and organized
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle guest issues
- Experience with reservation and scheduling software
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- At least one full year of host experience in a high-volume full-service environment
- Commitment to creating an amazing and memorable guest experience
- Knowledge of service standards including steps of service, food safety and sanitation, and phone etiquette
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with POS Toast, Open Table, and Hot Schedules technology
- Flexible schedule and open availability
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously
- Manage guest reservations and waitlists efficiently
- Provide accurate wait times and seating arrangements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and dining area
- Communicate effectively with serving staff and management
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism
- Utilize POS Toast, Open Table, and Hot Schedules for daily operations
