Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- prior hotel, retail, public relations or patient care or other healthcare related experience
- proficient in Windows-based operating software and systems
- good oral and written communication skills
- presentation skills
- strong customer service skills
- excellent analytical skills including analysis, planning, organizing and troubleshooting
- valid driver’s license
- BLS certification preferred

- some college education preferred
- prior hotel, retail, public relations or patient care or healthcare-related experience
- proficient in Windows-based operating software and systems
- good oral and written communication skills

- prior guest relations experience preferred
Job Duties
- Provide staffing for Information Desks, Emergency Department Desks, Pedway Cart, and ICU waiting rooms as needed
- round new patient rooms to provide information and evaluate patient concerns
- educate patients and families on service excellence survey expectations
- perform guest relations duties such as greeting, wheelchair assistance, valet support, maintenance of first impression areas, driveway traffic control, directions and information provision, assisting visitors
- serve as liaison to patients, families, and medical staff providing medical information, updates, counseling, and crisis intervention
- use multiple computer systems for data entry and accuracy
- perform escorts and Medical Mall transport
- handle fast-paced, high stress environment duties
- support Ambulance Lead Person as needed
