Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior relevant experience in guest services or healthcare
- Ability to use multiple computer systems such as IBEX, Invision, and Net Access
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high stress environment
- Basic Life Support certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Some college education preferred
- Prior hotel, retail, public relations, patient care or healthcare related experience
- Proficient in Windows-based operating software and multiple healthcare computer systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good analytical, planning, organizing, and troubleshooting abilities
Job Duties
- Provide staffing for Information Desks, Emergency Department Desks, Pedway Cart, and ICU waiting rooms as needed
- Round new patient rooms to inform patients and gather feedback
- Educate patients and families on service excellence survey expectations
- Greet visitors and provide wheelchair assistance
- Assist valet services and manage driveway traffic control
- Maintain first impression areas to ensure cleanliness and order
- Serve as liaison between patients, families, and medical staff providing information and crisis intervention
