Job Duties
- Explains Room Service menu to patients
- qualifies patients as full Room Service, Assist, or Non-Select
- delivers patient meal trays and unit supplies
- follows HACCP principles in completing tasks
- accurately manages position paperwork such as tray delivery forms and temperature monitoring records
- follows correct hand hygiene procedures
- utilizes appropriate scripting and responds to patients and internal and external customers
- effectively and safely uses position equipment and performs cleaning
- ensures meal selections match patient diet orders
- prioritizes timely meal tray delivery within 45 minutes
- orients patients to room service ordering process and communicates qualifications to Call Center
