- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Food service or customer service experience preferred
Job Duties
- Explains Room Service menu to patients
- Qualifies patients as full Room Service, Assist, or Non-Select
- Delivers patient meal trays and unit supplies
- Follows HACCP principles in completing tasks
- Accurately manages position paperwork such as tray delivery forms, Missed Meal Report, refrigerator and freezer temperature monitoring forms
- Follows correct hand hygiene procedures
- Utilizes appropriate scripting and responds to patients and internal and external customers
- Effectively and safely uses position equipment, performing cleaning and sanitation procedures
- Ensures meal selections align with patient’s diet order
- Prioritizes timely meal delivery within 45 minutes
- Orients patients to room service ordering process and communicates qualifications with Call Center
