Job Duties
- Offer every guest a superb experience that creates a lasting memory
- greet every guest to welcome them to the restaurant early in the morning
- support and assist fellow team members whenever possible
- maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area according to company standards
- monitor quality, safety, and appearance of all products and ingredients
- complete assigned tasks efficiently and thoroughly in accordance with company standards
- restock work area before leaving shift
- adhere to company uniform and grooming standards
- attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement
- report problems to the supervisor promptly
- complete other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
- ensure specials, promotions, and marketing plans are presented according to company procedures during the morning shift
- ensure that hours of operation for the restaurant are maintained during their shift
- ensure compliance with established safety and sanitation procedures and all federal, state, and local regulations during the morning shift
- greet guests, take food and beverage orders, expedite orders, assist with dining room service
- properly operate POS system for taking all types of guest orders
- charge guests properly and collect payment for orders
- answer the phone properly to assist guests and take phone orders
- interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- restock drink station and expo area, maintain restroom cleanliness, empty trash cans, and help keep the dining room and guest areas clean
- prepare a variety of food products including chicken salads, pimento cheese, side salads, soups, sauces, cookies, and desserts according to recipes and standards
- consistently comply with portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards
- maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
- promptly report equipment and food quality problems to management
- close the line kitchen properly and assist others in closing the kitchen
- use standard recipe cards for preparing all products
