Job Duties

  • Offer every guest a superb experience that creates a lasting memory
  • greet every guest to welcome them to the restaurant early in the morning
  • support and assist fellow team members whenever possible
  • maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area according to company standards
  • monitor quality, safety, and appearance of all products and ingredients
  • complete assigned tasks efficiently and thoroughly in accordance with company standards
  • restock work area before leaving shift
  • adhere to company uniform and grooming standards
  • attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement
  • report problems to the supervisor promptly
  • complete other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
  • ensure specials, promotions, and marketing plans are presented according to company procedures during the morning shift
  • ensure that hours of operation for the restaurant are maintained during their shift
  • ensure compliance with established safety and sanitation procedures and all federal, state, and local regulations during the morning shift
  • greet guests, take food and beverage orders, expedite orders, assist with dining room service
  • properly operate POS system for taking all types of guest orders
  • charge guests properly and collect payment for orders
  • answer the phone properly to assist guests and take phone orders
  • interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner
  • restock drink station and expo area, maintain restroom cleanliness, empty trash cans, and help keep the dining room and guest areas clean
  • prepare a variety of food products including chicken salads, pimento cheese, side salads, soups, sauces, cookies, and desserts according to recipes and standards
  • consistently comply with portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards
  • maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
  • promptly report equipment and food quality problems to management
  • close the line kitchen properly and assist others in closing the kitchen
  • use standard recipe cards for preparing all products
