Job Requirements

  • Passion for creating amazing experience for our clients and guests

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a busser or food runner in casual or upscale restaurant
  • TABC Certification completed prior to training
  • Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors
  • Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism
  • The team member is required to perform all necessary duties of the job
  • The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Embody the values and guiding principles of Hotel Drover
  • Assist culinary staff with front line set up
  • Ability to manage multiple functions and deliver results in a demanding, fast paced environment
  • Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders while acting as an extension of the Hotel Drover brand
  • Greet and welcome our guests
  • Delivery of food to the guests ensuring that it is delivered promptly and of the proper temperature in various outlets
  • Clean and set tables to restaurant standards as needed
  • Deposit dishes appropriately in the dish area or specified area
  • Set and stock food runner stations
  • Clean stations, including sweeping floor using the tools provided
  • Assist in Room Service by running food to Room Service station if needed
  • Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks when necessary
