Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role preferably in a café or hospitality environment
- Knowledge of coffee brewing methods espresso drinks and basic beverage preparation techniques
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently and work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Job Qualifications

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and positive experience for guests
- Knowledge of various coffee beverages milk alternatives and preparation methods
- Ability to multitask efficiently and work under pressure particularly during peak service hours
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and team members
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail especially in managing inventory and maintaining cleanliness
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages including espresso-based drinks brewed coffee tea and other hot or cold beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner taking drink orders and answering questions about beverages menu items and preparation methods
- Ensure all beverages are prepared quickly accurately and to the highest quality standards
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee station including the espresso machine grinders and other equipment
- Customize beverages based on guest preferences such as milk alternatives sweetness levels or specific flavors
- Create a positive welcoming environment for guests by engaging with them and making personalized drink recommendations when appropriate
- Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive to guest needs and ensuring they have a great experience
