Job Requirements

  • Previous line cook experience preferred with breakfast or brunch experience a plus
  • Ability to work early morning shifts weekends and holidays
  • Strong work ethic reliability and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and team-first mindset
  • Passion for food and hospitality
  • Ability to lift push pull and carry items weighing up to 70 pounds
  • Ability to stand continuously and move within the kitchen
  • Ability to hear equipment timers and communicate with staff
  • Ability to follow verbal written instructions

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • One to two years of experience in a related kitchen position
  • Knowledge of cooking practices and kitchen procedures
  • Ability to perform non-repetitive analytical work in the kitchen
  • Strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • Execute high-quality brunch dishes for both The Nickel and The Study with precision and consistency
  • Prepare and set up your station for morning service ensuring readiness for a smooth shift
  • Maintain strong knowledge of menu items recipes and presentation standards
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to deliver an exceptional guest experience
  • Uphold cleanliness organization and food safety standards at all times
  • Assist with prep inventory and opening responsibilities
