Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years of previous experience in a related or supportive culinary role
  • Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Food Handler Certification if applicable
  • Training in knife skills and basic kitchen equipment
  • Capability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multitask and handle pressure
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform strenuous duties including lifting 10-25lbs frequently and up to 75-100+lbs occasionally

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two to four years of experience in related or supportive culinary roles
  • Proficient in cooking at garde manger, sauté, fry, and grill stations
  • Experience working across multiple meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch
  • Time management and organizational skills for high-quality food production
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Food Handler Certification if applicable
  • Trained in knife skills and use of basic kitchen equipment
  • Ability to multitask under pressure
  • Flexible schedule including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Follow departmental policies and restaurant rules
  • Report maintenance or repairs needed to the Executive Chef
  • Prevent food spoilage and contamination by practicing proper sanitation
  • Consistently comply with portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards
  • Stock and maintain food product levels at line stations
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations and kitchen equipment
  • Provide excellent food quality and presentation to guests
  • Demonstrate and prepare menu items accurately and consistently
  • Ensure timely food production and educate employees about the menu
  • Assist in cleaning pantry, cooking line, prep kitchen, dish area, stairs, walk-in, and prep areas
