Job Requirements
- Minimum two years of previous experience in a related or supportive culinary role
- Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Food Handler Certification if applicable
- Training in knife skills and basic kitchen equipment
- Capability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to multitask and handle pressure
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to perform strenuous duties including lifting 10-25lbs frequently and up to 75-100+lbs occasionally
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two to four years of experience in related or supportive culinary roles
- Proficient in cooking at garde manger, sauté, fry, and grill stations
- Experience working across multiple meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch
- Time management and organizational skills for high-quality food production
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Food Handler Certification if applicable
- Trained in knife skills and use of basic kitchen equipment
- Ability to multitask under pressure
- Flexible schedule including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Follow departmental policies and restaurant rules
- Report maintenance or repairs needed to the Executive Chef
- Prevent food spoilage and contamination by practicing proper sanitation
- Consistently comply with portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards
- Stock and maintain food product levels at line stations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations and kitchen equipment
- Provide excellent food quality and presentation to guests
- Demonstrate and prepare menu items accurately and consistently
- Ensure timely food production and educate employees about the menu
- Assist in cleaning pantry, cooking line, prep kitchen, dish area, stairs, walk-in, and prep areas
