Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • One to two years of related experience
  • Early morning and weekend availability
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 70 lbs
  • Capability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks like bending and climbing
  • Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures
  • Ability to understand and communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • One to two years experience in a related kitchen position
  • Experience with breakfast, sauté, and grill cooking
  • Knowledge of cooking practices and kitchen procedures
  • Ability to perform non-repetitive analytical work
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Job Duties

  • Check all items against recipe cards and verify use records
  • Monitor line setup to ensure efficiency during meal periods
  • Maintain equipment and enforce kitchen cleanliness
  • Prepare food following recipes and portion standards
  • Start food items ahead of time without over-preparation
  • Date and rotate food containers following SOP
  • Check pars, prepare necessary items, and monitor stock levels
  • Assist in buffet stocking and proper storage of leftover food
  • Help control food cost issues, manage waste, and adhere to food usage guidelines
