Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years relevant experience
  • Ability to lift 20-40 lbs
  • Manual dexterity for serving and carrying trays
  • Ability to bend and kneel
  • Mobility to maneuver in narrow spaces
  • Ability to stand continuously during shifts
  • Ability to climb steps
  • Moderate comprehension and literacy
  • Ability to multitask and follow instructions
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Tact and understanding in customer service interactions

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • One to two years in a related position with this company or other organizations
  • Basic knowledge of customer service principles
  • Understanding of food service functions and restaurant operations
  • Ability to lead and coach team members
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures closely

Job Duties

  • Full set up and tear down of each service
  • Lead and guide fellow servers to be the best
  • Keep station neat and clean while servicing guest per established policies and procedures
  • Able to work flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Set tables in assigned area correctly and uniformly
  • Follow all opening/closing checklists and ongoing side work to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Coach fellow team members and assist in the absence of a manager
  • Break down buffets and other special food service tables and equipment
  • Assist management team as a supervisor when manager is not present
  • Greet and serve guests following food and beverage service guidelines
  • Keep kitchen and storage areas clean as per management policies
  • Communicate needs and concerns clearly and timely to manager on duty
  • Complete all set-up and closing duties
  • Assist guests and facilitate guest needs acting as supervisor when needed
  • Be vocal in pre-shifts and throughout shifts to help staff stay on point and deliver on brand promise
