- excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- experience using a computer and basic systems

- ability to remain standing for long periods and move in restaurant and kitchen areas
- open availability to work 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM including weekends and holidays

- ability to remain standing and move through restaurant and kitchen areas for the duration of shift
Job Duties
- Warmly greet guests with a smile upon arrival and provide them with menus
- Manage the seating chart and assign tables based on reservations and guest flow to maximize efficiency
- Answer the telephone and manage reservations for the restaurant and the private dining room, ensuring accurate records and accommodating special requests when possible
- Ensure the host area and dining room are clean, stocked and organized, including managing waiting areas and clearing tables
- Utilize the restaurant Micros Point of Sale (P.O.S.) system and procedures to process checks and all other transactions
- Provide support by preparing tables and assisting servers as needed
