Job Requirements

high school education or equivalent preferred
prior experience in a restaurant setting preferred
ability to work long hours as needed
ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects
ability to bend, stretch, twist, and reach with body and arms
ability to stand and walk for long periods
ability to work under variable temperature and noise levels
fluency in English
ability to multitask effectively
capacity to perform light physical work

Job Duties

arrive at work on time to set up the restaurant/lounge/cafe and prepare for opening
keep work area clean and attractive throughout meal periods
handle room service orders and operate as cashier handling cash and credit transactions
take reservations and seat guests promptly and courteously
provide exceptional guest service including pouring water, making suggestions, and answering questions
assist servers by anticipating needs and helping with serving and clearing tables
keep assigned areas fully stocked with utensils, napkins, and other necessary supplies
