Job Requirements
- Must have and maintain an active Handlers' Card (ServSafe)
- Adhere to local food handler requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist frequently
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds
- Good or correctable vision
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year experience in food service or customer service
- Excellent culinary skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Knowledge of workplace safety and sanitation
- Professional appearance and customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Accommodates special needs of guests
- Inspects dining room service stations for cleanliness and neatness
- Restocks food and condiment stations while avoiding contamination
- Prepares beverages and expedites food orders
- Monitors the number of guests entering and exiting the cafe
- Stocks and restocks utensils, plates, and glasses in the service area
- Acts as host/hostess by taking orders and setting/resetting tables with place settings
- Follows safety and sanitation procedures according to OSHA and health guidelines
- Uses carts to transport utensils, glassware, plates, and food
- Performs other duties as assigned
