Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Three to six months experience in a food and beverage service environment
  • Vision ability to see guest checks, print outs, and instructions clearly
  • Manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items, and balance trays with food and beverages
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, and guests
  • Physical ability to lift and carry 20 to 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand continuously for long periods
  • Ability to bend, pull, push, and move items as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Three to six months experience in a food and beverage service environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, and guests
  • Knowledge of menu items and specials
  • Capability to maintain professionalism and courtesy under pressure
  • Ability to follow health and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Ensure tables are cleaned and set in a timely manner to effectively serve guests
  • Remove finished courses and clear and organize dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary bussing station
  • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties as instructed
  • Memorize menu items, recipes, and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations
  • Maintain cleanliness standards in restaurant, wait-station, and kitchen service areas
  • Attend all pre-meal and departmental meetings to enhance communication and product knowledge
  • Respond to customer inquiries and comments professionally in person and by phone
  • Present a clean and professional appearance at all times
  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor
  • Use tact and understanding in handling customer service issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
