Job Requirements

High school education or equivalent experience
six months to one year in a food and beverage or customer service role
ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures
manual dexterity and physical capability to carry and handle food items and trays
ability to stand for extended periods
ability to read and communicate in English
able to lift 20 to 40 pounds
reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

High school education or equivalent experience
six months to one year in a food and beverage role or similar customer service roles
ability to work well in a fast-paced environment under pressure
knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items in hand, and carry containers and trays loaded with food and liquids
ability to read, speak and understand English
ability to lift, push, carry 20 to 40 pounds
ability to stand continuously for long periods
effective communication skills to relay information and hotel services to management, staff and guests

Job Duties

Coordinate food orders to guarantee timely and efficient delivery to guests
maintain knowledge of all ingredient details to each dish on the menu
communicate clearly with the kitchen and front of house staff
maintain high food safety and sanitation standards
deliver food to guests in both the dining room and guest rooms
take all in-room dining orders communicating with guest daily specials, estimated time of arrival, cash in advance/room charge policy, in accordance with policies and procedures
process guest checks and perform all cash handling responsibilities in accordance with hotel policies and procedures
complete all shift side work as outlined in the hotel operating policies and procedures
respond to customer needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure quality experience and enhance future sales
report all communications to immediate shift supervisor
conduct floor sweeps and retrieve all food and beverage trays to maintain established sanitation guidelines
set-up and deliver all VIP amenities
service all hospitality suites in accordance with BEO and established policy and procedures
check with guest to ensure enjoyment of meals and take action to correct any problems
