Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous dishwashing or similar cleaning experience is advantageous
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines strictly
- Good communication skills for teamwork
- Ability to lift 20lb trays and handle commercial cleaning equipment
Job Qualifications
- Commensurate or transfer skill set is primary importance
- Good attitude and work ethic practices to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to guest satisfaction criteria
- Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required
- Must be able to lift a 20lb tray of dishes
- Must be able to lift and dump a commercial-sized mop bucket
- Must be able to operate a commercial vacuum
Job Duties
- Sweep and mop walk-in, dry storage, back dock area making sure area is neat and clean
- Empty trash and take all trash to dumpster, reporting back if dumpster is full
- Clean dumpster area when needed
- Clean strainer under the dish machine
- Wipe down all dish areas, then use stainless steel polish on all metal surfaces including glass rack area, sinks, and all machine areas
- Make sure glasses and cups are in the correct racks
- Use the proper procedure to do silverware
