Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • exposure to soap, cleaning solutions and steam
  • authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • previous experience in a high-volume, full-service kitchen preferred
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to follow all company policies regarding attendance, safety and sanitation
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • provide the best customer service in a courteous, fast and efficient manner
  • wash and dry dishes, glassware, flatware and pots and pans by machine or hand
  • load and unload the dish washing machine frequently throughout the day
  • maintain clean work areas and equipment, sweep and scrub floors
  • place clean dishes, utensils and cooking equipment in storage areas, prepare and package individual place settings
  • sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas, clean garbage cans with water or steam
  • clean and prepare various foods for cooking and serving, stock supplies in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators and salad bars
  • maintain a clean and organized workspace, follow all safety and sanitation procedures as per OSHA, HACCP and Department of Public Health guidelines
  • perform other duties as assigned
