Job Duties
- Load, run and unload dish machine ensuring dishes, glassware, flatware and silverware are sanitized
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for pots, pans and trays requiring hand washing
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, tableware and utensils for machine washing
- Sort and stack clean and dry dishes
- Transport clean dishes to cook's line and storage areas
- Change dishwater in dish machine every hour
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Fill and empty soak tubs with cleaning and sanitizing solutions
- Sweep, scrub and mop floors
- Maintain dish pit cleanliness
- Notify Manager if dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety temperatures
- Clean garbage cans with water or steam
- Monitor and report functional or mechanical issues
- Clean and scrub walls
- Prepare various foods for cooking and serving
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures per OSHA and health guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
