Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-1 year experience in a full-service kitchen environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to operate dishwashing equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Professional appearance and reliable work ethic

Job Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans using machine and manual cleaning methods
  • Load, run and unload dish machine ensuring sanitation temperatures are met
  • Sort, rinse, and rack dirty dishes and utensils
  • Transport clean dishes to storage and cooking areas
  • Change dishwater in the dish machine every hour
  • Sort and remove trash to designated pickup areas
  • Sweep, scrub and mop floors
  • Maintain dish pit cleanliness
  • Monitor dish machine temperatures and report issues
  • Clean garbage cans, walls and work areas
  • Prepare and package place settings
  • Follow safety and sanitation procedures according to OSHA and health guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned
