Job Requirements
- must have and maintain an active Handlers' Card (ServSafe) and adhere to local food handler requirements
- maintain exceptional punctuality and attendance
- consistently perform duties responsibly and efficiently
- authorized to work in the U.S.
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 0-1 year experience in a full-service kitchen environment
- able to communicate effectively with team members
- knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures following OSHA and local health guidelines
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- professional appearance and positive attitude
- ability to handle kitchen equipment safely
Job Duties
- load, run and unload dish machine ensuring all dishes, glassware, flatware and silverware are cleaned properly and sanitized
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for pots, pans and trays that require hand washing
- sort and rinse dirty dishes and utensils and place them in racks for dish machine processing
- sort and stack clean and dry dishes
- transport clean dishes to cook's line and proper storage areas
- change dishwater in dish machine every hour
- sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
