Job Requirements
- Must have and maintain an active Handlers' Card (ServSafe) and adhere to local food handler requirements
- Maintain exceptional punctuality and attendance
- Consistently perform all duties responsibly and efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with high noise levels
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Ability to lift and carry dishes, pots, and utensils weighing up to 40 pounds
- Good or correctable vision
- Willingness to follow all safety standards and report mechanical problems promptly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-1 year experience in a full-service kitchen environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with the team
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and proper sanitation procedures
- Professional appearance and customer service skills
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines from OSHA and Department of Public Health
Job Duties
- Load, run and unload dish machine ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for pots, pans, and trays washed by hand
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils and place them in racks
- Sort and stack clean and dry dishes
- Transport clean dishes to cooks' line and storage areas
- Change dishwater in dish machine every hour
- Sort and remove trash to designated pickup areas
