Job Requirements
- Available to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends
- able to work in a fast pace kitchen environment
- must be able to meet physical requirements of standing, twisting, bending, repetitive motion and lifting 10-40lbs regularly
- a current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
Job Qualifications
- Proven ability to perform excellent, professional customer service
- basic math skills for measurement and scale functions
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- knowledge of specialty and prepared foods preferred
- previous food preparation experience preferred
Job Duties
- Provide excellent, professional customer service
- perform basic food preparation in accordance with PCC recipes
- counter and barista service when needed during business operating hours
- dishwashing and cleaning in the deli and production areas
- packaging and retail merchandising
- ensure department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met
- become knowledgeable about deli products, specialty foods, baked goods and prepared foods
