Job Requirements
- A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
- Available to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends
- Able to work in a fast pace kitchen environment
- Must be able to meet physical requirements of standing, twisting, bending, repetitive motion and lifting 10-40lbs regularly
Job Qualifications
- Proven ability to perform excellent, professional customer service
- Previous food preparation experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of specialty and prepared foods preferred
- Basic math skills for measurement and scale functions
- Excellent communication skills
Job Duties
- Provide excellent, professional customer service
- Perform basic food preparation in accordance with PCC recipes
- Counter and barista service when needed during business operating hours
- Dishwashing and cleaning in the deli and production areas
- Packaging and retail merchandising
- Ensure department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Become knowledgeable about deli products, specialty foods, baked goods and prepared foods
