Job Requirements
- Must be able to start shifts between 5 AM and 8 AM
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Completion of a background check
- Basic culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations
- Ability to supervise and train hourly staff
- Good communication skills
- Understanding of cost control principles
Job Qualifications
- Culinary education or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of culinary experience preferred
- Experience with breakfast service
- Familiarity with a la carte service
- Knowledge of health department codes
- Basic leadership and communication skills
- Ability to use computer systems for kitchen management
Job Duties
- Produce consistent quality food products that meet guests' expectations
- Train kitchen staff and assist in their development
- Supervise hourly morning cooks to ensure efficiency
- Assume department responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef
- Monitor payroll costs and control overtime
- Maintain compliance with health department codes
- Assist with cost control and inventory management
