Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service setting preferred
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with cooking
  • Commitment to upholding safety and cleanliness standards
  • Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Eagerness to learn and grow as a professional in the food service industry
  • Experience working in a team environment, ideally in a culinary setting
  • Knowledge and ability to prep, prepare, and present food on a buffet
  • Ability to cook eggs and omelets as ordered
  • Knowledge of food sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment

Job Duties

  • Preparing breakfast including eggs to order for residents and guests
  • Working collaboratively with the Culinary and Dining Services team
  • Setting the daily foundation for successful execution of all meal periods
  • Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
  • Presenting high-quality, appetizing food personalized to residents’ preferences
  • Living by the Core Values of Respect, Kindness & Compassion, Honesty, and Service Excellence
  • Operating kitchen equipment and adhering to food sanitation guidelines
