Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in cooking or food preparation preferred
  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday mornings
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must adhere to safety and hygiene standards
  • Flexible and dependable work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Eagerness to learn and grow professionally in the food service industry
  • Experience working in a team environment, preferably culinary
  • Knowledge and ability to prep, prepare, and present buffet food
  • Skilled in cooking eggs and omelets as ordered
  • Familiarity with food sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment as needed

Job Duties

  • Prepare breakfast including eggs and omelets to order
  • Work collaboratively with Culinary and Dining Services team
  • Ensure highest standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
  • Present high-quality and personalized food to residents and guests
  • Set daily foundation for successful execution of meal periods
  • Embody core values of respect, kindness, compassion, honesty, and service excellence
  • Greet residents with a positive and welcoming attitude
