Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous cooking experience preferred
  • must be able to work Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • adherence to health and safety regulations
  • ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • be at least 18 years of age
  • eagerness to learn and grow as a professional in the food service industry
  • experience working in a team environment ideally in a culinary setting
  • knowledge and ability to prep, prepare and present food on a buffet
  • ability to cook eggs and omelets as ordered
  • knowledgeable in food sanitation guidelines
  • able to operate kitchen equipment as needed

Job Duties

  • prepare breakfast including eggs to order for residents and guests
  • work collectively with Culinary and Dining Services team under Executive Chef
  • be the first smiling face residents see every day
  • witness the happiness your cooking brings to residents and guests
  • set the daily foundation for successful execution of all meal periods
  • ensure highest standards of cleanliness and safety within the kitchen
  • present high-quality, appetizing, and personalized food
  • live by core values of respect, kindness, compassion, honesty, and service excellence
