Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting
- strong knowledge of mixology, cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
- exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling procedures
- knowledge of local, state, and federal alcohol service laws
- ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences
- must have a reliable schedule and be available for nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- compliance with Ugly Dumpling's dress code and personal appearance standards
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly, engage in friendly conversation, and ensure an exceptional bar experience
- prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, bubble tea and other non-alcoholic drinks, with consistency and attention to detail
- provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences and menu knowledge
- handle guest concerns professionally and promptly to ensure satisfaction
- accurately mix and prepare drinks according to Ugly Dumpling's recipes and standards
- ensure proper garnish preparation and presentation for all beverages
- maintain bar cleanliness and organization throughout the shift
- adhere to all local, state, and federal alcohol service laws and regulations
- monitor and maintain proper stock levels for the bar, including restocking and inventory management
- follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- handle cash, credit card transactions, and closing procedures accurately
- work closely with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to provide seamless service
- participate in pre-shift meetings and collaborate with team members to achieve daily goals
- assist in training new bartenders or barbacks as needed
- perform other duties as assigned
