Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Two or more years of professional experience in external relations, marketing, fundraising, or sales
- Superior client relationship management skills
- Demonstration of tact, discretion, and sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information
- Event management and project management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with using, manipulating and maintaining database information, Raiser’s Edge preferred
- Experience working with LinkedIn and other social media platforms
- Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic, deadline oriented environment
- Positive, creative, solution-oriented temperament required
- Strong desire to reflect our Catholic, Jesuit values in daily interactions with all constituents
- Candidate must pass a background check including fingerprinting

Job Duties
- Support office of development and alumni relations in logistical and promotional responsibilities for all alumni association activities including Loyola Golf Open, Homecoming, Taste of Blakefield, athletic and co-curricular alumni team events, Kelley Medal Breakfast, professional networking events, service projects, reunions, spiritual retreats, and others
- Organize, publicize, and execute major alumni events such as Dons Down the Ocean, Loyola Reunions, Jubilarian 50th Reunion Weekend, Golden Dons Dinner, and other events to engage alumni and alumni families
- Plan and implement the annual alumni relations calendar including alumni communications and alumni events
- Write and manage the Alumni E-Newsletter and other outreach methods
- Expand creation and management of alumni-related social media focusing on athletic, co-curricular, cultural, professional, and social events
- Recruit, manage, and steward volunteers for the Class Captains program in partnership with the development and alumni team
- Communicate regularly with alumni and alumni classes regarding school updates, notices, and news
- Support implementation and execution of plans to engage alumni outside Maryland with focus on high density and high opportunity communities
- Provide travel and prospect recommendations for leadership engagement and major gift cultivation
- Perform other duties as assigned
