Job Duties

  • manage and oversee the daily operations of the Alumni Relations office
  • manage the guest relations process including mailing, tracking RSVPs, registrations at events, responding to email traffic, answering main telephone lines for inquiries
  • assist in negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers
  • support the Assistant Vice President in managing the Alumni Council through scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and correspondence
  • serve as lead event coordinator for selected on-campus events
  • attend on- and off-campus events as requested
  • manage the milestone outreach project to recognize alumni achievements
  • manage work study student employees
  • partner with Assistant Vice President to manage department budget
  • coordinate with Advancement services to maintain Raisers Edge database accuracy
  • collaborate with Annual Giving Team on student and young alumni events
  • supervise student workers and volunteers under Assistant Vice President guidance
