Job Duties

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Alumni Relations office
  • Manage the guest relations process including mailing, tracking RSVPs, registrations at events, responding to email traffic, and answering main telephone lines for inquiries
  • Assist in negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers
  • Support the Assistant Vice President with management of the Alumni Association's Alumni Council including scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes, and correspondence
  • Lead event coordination for on-campus events such as the Alumni Easter Egg Hunt and Senior Class Brunch
  • Attend both on and off campus events as requested
  • Manage the milestone outreach project to recognize alumni achievements
  • Manage work study student employees
  • Partner with the Assistant Vice President to manage departmental budget
  • Partner with Advancement Services to ensure alumni records are updated in Raisers Edge database
  • Collaborate with Annual Giving Team to promote and manage student and young alumni events
  • Supervise and monitor work of student workers and volunteers under guidance of Assistant Vice President
